Race Day Details
Thank you for participating in the FCPS - All Together for a Cure Walk it! Run it! Cure It! 5K
We want to make sure your race experience is fulfilling and fun, so be sure to read the details below.
Race Date: Saturday, March 16th
Race Start: 9 am
*We will still race if there is rain. Only lightening would delay or cancel the race. There is no rain date.
Location: Keeneland Race Course:
Parking: Enter through Main entrance (ENTRANCE 2) off Versailles Road. You will stay to the right as you come in. You should Park in Aisle 21, 23, 25, 27. Aisle 21 is closest to the registration area. Registration is at Barn 2 (white barns located near Sales Pavilion). Start line is near Barn 5.
Run Course: Will be clearly marked with cones and volunteers. There will be two water stations on the course. Approximately at 1.5 miles and 2.4 miles. Please pay attention to the volunteers as they direct you!
Awards: 9:45 -10 am (weather will determine how quickly we do awards). Awards will be held near Barn 2.
Race Day Registration: We encourage you to bring friends and family to run/walk with you! They can register up until 8:30 am on Race Day. We encourage you to come a little early if you need to register. Race Day registration will be located at Barn 2.
Race Day Packet Pick-up: Is located at Barn 2. You must have your name and information on your bib tag by race time to receive an official time.
Restrooms: are located through Barn 2 at the left of Barn 5. The barns are clearly marked and all near registration.
Weather: 40 - 55 degrees at Race time with chance of showers. However given the unpredictability of the weather we ask you to dress in plenty of layers and prepare for anything!
